Hungary

Your prayers are being answered in Hungary as a village church’s passion for their community has been renewed! Young and old gathered November 2 to pray, fast, worship, and seek the Lord. One member tearfully repented of her hurtful, angry words, and relationships were restored. Two youth came to prayerwalk, and a Baptist representative went out with them, teaching them to pray for the people. Halloween is a day that the local witches’ museum opens its doors and sells their products. One of the prayerwalking prompts was about Jesus casting the demon into the pigs, and His authority over them. The boy who read it lit up, explaining his fear of the witches, the museum, and their spells and power. He boldly prayed in Jesus’ name for the museum to close. It was wonderful praying together. The highlight was watching the youth be discipled in how to pray for their village using God’s Word and learning how the Word applies to their everyday concerns. The church’s fast ended with the Lord’s Supper and a dinner together. It was a beautiful and encouraging time. Pray for continued growth in health and unity, asking the Lord to use the church in reaching their community.
