A community of believers was struck by tragedy — a horrible accident that ended in the death of a child. Please pray for the family that is going through unimaginable grief. Pray for the community around them, as well, to experience the “God of all comfort” (2 Corinthians 1:3 ESV) as they grieve together, and ask that as they go through this process, they will grow and be strengthened in the Word. Pray for love and forgiveness to abound, and ask that in the middle of this affliction, God’s truth will shine through and many will come to Jesus, “the founder and perfecter of our faith” (Hebrews 12:2 ESV), for “the LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit” (Psalm 34:18 ESV).
