Our Johannesburg Evangelism Team encounters much resistance in these communities, as we are considered outsiders and they are suspicious about our reason for being there. Pray for God’s Holy Spirit to be at work, softening the hearts of these people. Pray for us to find ways to show them the love of Christ consistently so they will desire to get to know Him personally! ‘A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another’ (John 13:34-35 ESV).”
