(joh-HAHN-is-burg) – Residents of Westbury, a suburb of Johannesburg, live daily under the threat of gang violence. Amid all the brokenness, Candace began to gather groups of women for support and encouragement, and the ministry called Elizabeth’s Walk was born. As Candace walks with women affected by addiction and abuse, she is also able to meet some practical needs for shelter, food, and clothing. The ministry is seeing fruit, as seven of the women staying there have recently come to faith and are being discipled. Please pray for these women to grow into mature and steadfast believers, and also pray for the gospel to multiply in Westbury. “On this rock I will build my church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” (Matthew 16:18 ESV).
