Jula of Cote d’Ivoire, Burkina Faso, and Mali

(JOO-luh) – “And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, ‘Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners'” (Mark 2:17 ESV). For any believer, a common temptation is to give into tradition just because that’s how it’s always been done. For new believers among the Jula people, that same temptation could be there too, instead of looking at what the Bible says. Please pray for the Jula believers to search their hearts to see if the things they do in their corporate, as well as individual, worship, prayer, and evangelism efforts is based on what the Bible says and not on self-made traditions.
