Kampala, Uganda

(kahm-PAH-lah) – “Refugees from Sudan have been pouring into Uganda as a result of the unrest and fighting that began in April of this year. Most have found themselves in the capital city of Kampala without jobs or places to live. The local Sudanese community has taken them in, and some house up to 20 extra individuals in their small apartments. Our Kampala Urban Team has partnered with Send Relief to get them food aid. Through these efforts, 10 refugees have come to faith! Would you pray for the ongoing relief efforts and for the gospel to continue moving forward in the Sudanese community?”
