Kampala, Uganda

(kahm-PAH-lah) – “As we approach upcoming elections in Uganda, we find ourselves living in a moment where many are searching for direction and hope,” writes the Kampala Urban Team. “Many people are wrestling with uncertainty, wondering what the future holds, and longing for something steady in a world that keeps shifting. Simultaneously, wars and conflicts in surrounding nations are causing people to move in search of peace. Every day, more families cross the borders carrying stories of fear, loss, and the unknown. We believe that these moments are opportunities for Jesus to meet people in powerful ways. So we’re asking you to join us in praying that this country will experience peace before, during, and after the elections. Pray that many will turn to Jesus and encounter His certainty in uncertain times, and pray that those fleeing surrounding conflicts will not only find refuge, but also discover the true refuge found in Christ.”
