(kuh-MY) – Holidays are not merely one-day events. Very special occasions extend to three days or even a couple of weeks. It’s even quite common to carry on Christmas celebrations well into the month of January in West Cambodia. The Khmer people of this region love to gather for special celebrations, and Khmer believers use this as a way to plan large outreaches in the provincial cities as well as the rural villages. Please pray for unity among Khmer leaders and other believers in planning, preparing, and carrying out special programs. Pray they will take this opportunity for broad sowing of the gospel seed. Many will hear about who God is and find out about salvation. Please pray that the Holy Spirit will open hearts, bring conviction, and draw people into saving faith by grace in the Lord Jesus Christ.
