(kuh-MY) – A local church in a western province of Cambodia has been running an outreach to young students in their community. A Cambodian believer has stepped up to volunteer as a computer teacher in a student ministry center at his local church. Some of the donated computers broke down. Soon after that, a thief broke into the church and stole a computer. After news circulated about what had happened, Cambodian believers from another church donated computers to help this provincial outreach ministry. This greatly encouraged the computer teacher. However, a couple of weeks after that, a thief broke in again and stole three more computers even after some increased security measures were made at the church grounds. The events have discouraged the computer teacher and the leadership at the local church. Please pray that the church leaders and the believers at this local church will not lose heart but remain faithful even when feeling greatly discouraged. Please pray that this community outreach of teaching computer classes will be a ministry that faithfully shares the gospel so that many young Cambodian people can receive salvation and follow Christ.
