(KOH-bay) – Kobe Team members write: “We would like to give you an update on the prayer request we shared in May. We thank God for the successful ABC Café held at Amagasaki Baptist Church on June 2. Thank you as well to everyone who prayed for this event. Even though it was raining and we had a typhoon advisory, a total of 16 people attended and enjoyed a wonderful time together. Among them, six were non-Christians, and four were regular church members. We had a meaningful time with English activities, singing, and a message from the Bible. The response from the non-Christians was very positive, and it was also an encouraging experience for the pastor and church members as they continue to reach out to others with the gospel. Please pray that those who attended, including several first-time visitors, will continue to come to the ABC Café in the coming months. Also, please pray that more people from the surrounding community will join the ABC Café and come to know Jesus.”
