(kohl-KAH-tah) – Ramadan is a time of fasting and prayer practiced by Muslims around the world. It started last month and will continue until the middle of this month. During this time, you can lift up your Muslim neighbors, both near and far, in three specific ways: 1) As Muslims earnestly seek to know Allah and please him, pray that they will have an encounter with the one true God and the love that He has for them. Pray that this will happen through dreams, visions, gospel presentations, and God’s Word. 2) Ask that during this very spiritual time, Muslims will be more open to discussing their faith and even be willing to voice doubts they are having to faithful Christians who are ready to share why there is hope and security in Christ. 3) Praise God for the work He is doing among Muslim communities! Ask Him to strengthen Muslim-background believers, as they may still be living with their families during this time. Pray for them to have the strength and boldness it takes to share the gospel with their loved ones.
