(kwah-luh LUM-pur) – Kuala Lumpur is a melting pot of peoples, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. February is the “month in the middle.” Chinese New Year celebrations will be ongoing, while preparations for Ramadan will be beginning. Each holiday brings a change in the rhythms of city life. Pray for both the Chinese Malaysians and the majority peoples who do not yet know Christ. Often, both of these holidays bring access to the gospel in new ways. Pray too for peace in the city. When one holiday encroaches on another, it can be met with resentment and bitterness. Believers there long to see the city flooded with His peace as more and more people are being made new in the likeness of Christ!
