Lilongwe, Malawi, and Beyond

(li-LONG-way) – “Please pray for believers all over Malawi to walk in God’s strength as they press on and continue in their ministries. As they share the gospel and serve the Lord in their homes, churches, and communities, pray that they will live by His strength and not their own. Pray for us as missionaries to remember also to walk and work in His strength and not our own. Pray that His strength will be made perfect in our weakness.” “Three times I pleaded with the Lord about this, that it should leave me. But he said to me, ‘My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.’ Therefore I will boast all the more gladly of my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest upon me. For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (2 Corinthians 12:8-10 ESV).
