(MAH-ti-lee) – The power was out for a full two hours while a young Muslim man sat in the home of a believer. The man had come to this home fairly often to do electrical work, but since the power was out, they both sat there and simply waited. The believer had shared with him about Jesus about six months earlier, but he hadn’t been interested. In the stifling heat, the young man once again heard the truth about Jesus. This time, his heart was open and ready to receive! As he started learning more about his newfound faith, he eagerly expressed an interest in being baptized. Two days later, this man took the step of obedience and was baptized into God’s family. Pray for Nadeem in his new faith, asking that it will grow in good soil and that God will use him in a mighty way among his people group.
