(mah-LONG) – Last month, two new believers wanted to follow, in obedience, the symbolic picture of their new life. They were at a nearby marshy body of water and other Malong believers gathered to witness. Sia, told the cross-cultural worker that her husband wanted to come and watch, which brought a fear that her husband was coming so he could report her to the religious leaders. The community workers prayed and decided their fear would not keep Sia and the other new believer from their obedience. Sia’s husband held their small child along the bank as she was immersed into the marsh waters. This month Sia is sharing more details with him and other family members about her new life. Pray for her words to be used to draw her husband and others to the One who saves.
