Maltese of Malta

(MAHL-teez) – The tiny island nation of Malta sure knows how to decorate for Christmas. Virtually every bit of the 122 square miles has some type of decorative light, and there are also still many manger scenes (presepji) in homes and stores and roundabouts. However for many Maltese and visitors to Malta, Jesus is part of a religion and maybe even a religion they claim as theirs, but they do not know Jesus as their Savior and Lord. Lift up the people of Malta, where less than 1% of the population has a personal relationship with Jesus. Ask that during this Christmas season their lives will shine brighter than the Christmas lights and that many people in Malta and its close neighbor, Gozo, will know Jesus as more than a baby in a manger scene. #PrayMalta
