(MAHL-teez) – Many Maltese families love to decorate for the Christmas season. While there are many lights and secular decorations, there are also many nativity scenes, even in public plazas. Some Maltese have exhibitions of their handmade “cribs” or “presepji” and invite people to come by and see them or display them in the window or balcony of their homes. Pray that the real meaning of the season- the miracle of Emmanuel, God with us, will be clearly declared and that the people of Malta and Gozo will come to know personally the “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6b ESV).
