Marwari Speakers of Northern India

(mah-WAH-ree) – The Marwari-speaking people, with a population of 7,800,000 in India, come from what may be referred to as the “land of death” because it is part of the Thar desert. They are closely related to the Rajasthani people of India and prefer being associated with them, especially in language. In the past, the Marwari speakers were migratory traders with good skills in finance, and they have been involved in successful past and present financial investments in India. Pray for the salvation of the Marwari speakers of northern India.
