For several years, Ahmet has been going to a cultural center that’s run by some believers. Over the years, he has met many people at the cultural center who identify as followers of Christ, and they have shared the gospel with him. While he loves spending time with these believers, he’s been quite spiritually apathetic. Recently, he met a new person with a background in psychology. Ahmet was eager to chat with that believer, as he has been dealing with anxiety and depression and is searching for answers. They met up for coffee, and Ahmet poured out his heart. He was given a few tidbits of practical advice, and once again, he was reminded that Jesus truly is the answer to so many of his life’s problems. He said, “I’m just not really looking for God or religion right now.” The believer pushed back and said, “What if God is looking for you?” Ahmet replied that hearing this made his heart tingle! Please pray that Ahmet will continue to feel the tingling of the Holy Spirit tugging on his heart. Ask that he will see that his heart is truly in need of the Wonderful Counselor.
