I’ve been on the field for a few months and am currently studying language full-time. I’ve been able to go on several trips with an experienced explorer and am already learning so much from her. Since I spend much of my time at my base location while studying language, I would love to build more local friendships, especially with English speakers with whom I can have deeper conversations. Please also pray that I would learn the language well so I can share in the heart language of this country and better understand people’s stories.
