“We met a couple today while looking for an unengaged, unreached people group (UUPG),” missionary explorers Jude and Rocky Brown shared. “They own and live in a small chai stand on the roadside on a mountain, that leads up to a large temple where people worship Shiva. The forest area around them is heavily devoted to folk Hinduism. Seven years ago, this couple gave their lives to Jesus. The area they live in is dark. Since becoming believers, their community has hated them. They mock them, avoid their business, file government complaints about them, and harass them. Despite all of this, they have joy! Their testimonies are those of God providing. After losing their government benefits because of their faith, another believer helped them build their chai stand! God has brought them through the man’s multiple heart issues and surgeries. They regularly share with their community and have brought 70 people to church. Please pray for their daughter and her family, who still follow Hinduism. And pray that God will continue to use this couple to draw people to Him!”
