(mahm-BAH-suh) – “We could not be here, doing this work, without the support and prayers of individual believers and churches across the ocean,” a worker writes. “We do not take lightly the immense amount of love and encouragement that is poured out on us each day as we live and serve amid lostness from people we often do not know nor will ever meet. And for that, we are so thankful, and we’re humbled by those back home who are always ‘holding the ropes’ for us. We are very thankful, too, when that world and our new world collide, as it will when we welcome volunteers to Kenya this month. We are eager to work alongside them as, together, we support and help build healthy leaders in a training for children’s ministry workers in local fellowships. Please pray that many fellowships will send their workers and that they will be engaged in our training sessions as we strive to encourage and support the work already being done. Pray for this volunteer team, asking that they will be effective leaders and use their talents and skills well to uplift local believers who serve children in their fellowships.”
