Because of continued years of unrest, many Mountain People have either been forcibly displaced from their homes or have chosen to leave in order to help provide safety and more economic opportunity for their families. Most do not make it to another country, but instead move to another city or region within their own country. Many times, these new areas are different from what they have known. They might consist of people who have a higher standard of living or who follow Orthodox Christianity more loosely than they are used to or are even members of new people groups that they have never encountered. Please pray for the internally displaced Mountain People. Pray that God will use their change in location to shake up their worldview, and ask that they will be more open and receptive to the gospel. Pray that they will encounter followers of Jesus in these new places who will be bold in proclaiming truth in love. Pray that God will use their circumstances to bring them to the saving knowledge of who He is.
