(mow-HAH-jers) – Shia Muslims make up 10%-20% of the Muhajir population, the people who left India to move to Pakistan during the Partition of 1947. The Shia population, at large, mourned the death of the Iranian spiritual leader during the air attacks in Iran in early March. Shia Muslims put a great deal of focus on their spiritual leaders, especially if they believe them to be martyred. Please pray for the Shia Muhajirs of Pakistan to better understand the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross and why they need a Savior. Ask the Lord to give believers boldness to share with their Shia neighbors and to continue the conversation, following up often until those neighbors come to faith.
