Muslims of Northeast India

During the month of June was the Islamic holiday called Eid al-Adha, the Feast of Sacrifice. This holiday commemorates the sacrifice of Abraham. On Eid al-Adha, Muslims sacrifice a “bakra” (a goat) in order to be rid of their sin for the rest of the year. This holiday provided a great opportunity for believers to engage Muslims with the good news of the Lamb of God, to whom Abraham’s sacrifice points. During this holiday, many gospel seeds were sewn among Muslims in the Northeast India region. Pray that God will provide fruit from these gospel seeds and that those who were shared with will believe in the One who sacrificed Himself for our sins once and for all!
