When Henry and another believer saw the young Muslim family in the park in matching overalls, looking a bit forlorn, they approached them and commented on how wonderful they all looked. “We were supposed to meet a photographer here for a family photo, but he never showed up,” the young husband, Yusuf, explained. Henry offered to take pictures with his phone and send them to Yusuf so it wouldn’t be a wasted day. Yusuf was grateful and expressed thanks to God that they’d met Henry. Henry replied, “That’s great, because we are in this park today to talk about God!” Yusuf knew about Jesus and that Muslims were allowed to read the Torah, Zabura (Psalms), and Injil (Gospels) of the Bible. Henry explained that he had a book about the life of Jesus and would love to send it to Yusuf to read and then meet to talk about it. Yusuf readily agreed — you see, his parents had gone to prison for involvement with drugs and had come out followers of Jesus! Yusuf had seen firsthand what Jesus can do, and he was interested in learning more. Pray for Henry as he and Yusuf read the Book of Matthew together!
