As you walk the narrow streets of the “Porter” neighborhood, you can smell freshly baked bread, see a long line stretching out the door of the “halal” (permissible) butcher, and step into a tea shop for a hot cup of sweet mint tea. There’s another aroma in this neighborhood that is harder to detect, but no less potent. It is the aroma of Christ that is spread by the small church that faithfully meets in a little garage down one of those narrow streets. Many believers from the church have decided to move into this neighborhood so that they may be a witness to their neighbors. Pray for the faithful believers in this church to proclaim the gospel of Christ in word and deed to those who are living in darkness.
