(NAH-goh-yah) – Bethany began attending church six months ago. Since that time, she has heard the gospel through preaching and testimonies that have been shared. She felt like there was a God before but had never really given it much thought until recently. While attending a Bible study, she learned that her relationship with God is broken. She was surprised to read in the Bible that she is actually an enemy of God. This has caused her to think more deeply about the gospel and even asked a friend, “How can I begin a relationship with God?” They read passages from the book of Romans together. She is now counting the cost. Please pray for Bethany to surrender to the Lord. Ask that she would repent and turn to the Living God and become His child instead of His enemy. “If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved” (Romans 10:9 ESV).
