(n-GO-knee) – The early rains started in November across much of Tanzania, including the areas where the Ngoni live. Being subsistence farmers, the Ngoni must harvest a crop each year in order to have food for their families. Thank the Lord for His blessings of rain! Ask God to allow the rains to continue in the right amounts and at the needed times. As the Ngoni move through the different phases of working their fields during this growing season, ask the Lord to bless the work of their hands so that the harvest will be plentiful for the needs of their families. Pray for those who have not yet trusted Jesus as Lord of their life to acknowledge and believe with their whole heart that God, who provides for their daily needs, has also provided a way for forgiveness of sins and eternal life through His Son, Jesus.
