Niamey, Niger

(NEE-ah-may) – Missionaries Phil and Kimberly Cain first arrived in Niger as Foreign Mission Board missionaries to serve among the Zerma (pronounced ZAR-mah) people. They learned the language and local culture and customs, raised their children, and planted their lives in Niger. After 30 years of faithful service, Phil and Kimberly will leave Niger in December and retire from the International Mission Board after their final stateside assignment. Give thanks to the Lord for their many years of ministry! Give thanks and pray for the many people who are believers today because of their service. Intercede for the Church in Niger. Pray for wisdom for local church leaders. Pray for believers as they live out their faith; may they be living witnesses to their family and neighbors. Pray for Phil and Kimberly as they begin a new chapter. Ask for God’s continued guidance and provision for them.
