Having lived in a refugee camp for a handful of years now, Hiba is thankful for the friends she has met like Jenny, who are able to speak her heart language, since she still struggles to learn the local language and routines as an older adult. She is thankful for the small fellowship that she faithfully attends, although she is still unsure about what a change of faith could mean in her life. While Hiba was sad that Jenny and her family had to move away recently, she was amazed to learn that they are now living in the area where one of her sons and his family live! Hiba is thankful that more of her family members will be able to hear the gospel message that she has heard. Praise the Lord for His divine providence — how He orders the steps of His people (Psalm 37:23 KJV)! Pray for Hiba to understand that a relationship with the Lord is worth more than anything on this earth, no matter what others around her may think. Pray that others in Hiba’s family will hear and receive the gospel so that they might worship the one true God together.
