While cultural Easter celebrations often abound in the European cities where they live and study, many North African university students have never heard the true story of Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. When asked about Jesus and about why He had to die, many respond with uncertainty or with rebuttals that they have been taught in their religion, denying that Jesus actually died and rose again. Pray for boldness for believing university students, asking that they will take opportunities to share the amazing story of the gospel with their North African classmates during this season. Pray that North African students who are seeking truth will come into contact with believers in their cities, and ask that they will be able to grasp the incredible significance of Jesus’ death and resurrection as well as the offer of forgiveness, righteousness, and relationship with God that is available to them through faith.
