All year long, Ines looks forward to summer, a time when she and her daughter leave their city in Europe and go home to North Africa. Many North Africans in the city have the same summer routine and the same anticipation of their time back in their homeland. For many children, these summer vacations are their only experience living in North Africa, and they love connecting with cousins and extended family members who live in their ancestral towns. Many women feel that they can finally relax when they are back home, as they have the support and help of their parents. This summer, pray that these women will take the time to reflect on the truth they have heard during the year when talking with believers. Ask God to open their eyes to their need for a true eternal home in Christ and show them that no change of location or circumstance in their lives can quench their spiritual thirst. Intercede for their children, who are observing the traditional religious culture of their families, asking that God will begin working in their lives and give them a hunger for a true relationship with Him that can only come through Jesus.
