Some visiting believers had only heard about the language-exchange event the day before, so they weren’t sure about going. When they arrived, there were several other people there. Everyone was waiting, not knowing what to expect. An hour after it was supposed to start, they heard voices outside the door and in came two North African women along with a daughter and a son. The women came ready to practice the local European language. They all paired off, and even the daughter and son practiced speaking the local European language with others. It was a good experience having people from different cultures, languages, and backgrounds interacting with each other. The believers who hosted this event hope to host several more language-exchange events in the future. Please pray that the believers will get to know the participants along with their families and friends and eventually have opportunities to share what God did by sending Jesus as a sacrifice for them.
