Faiza moved to Europe more than 20 years ago to start a new life with her husband and children. A family friend, who is a believer, recently moved to her city. The believer and Faiza have visited each other’s homes and families. Recently, the believer went to Faiza’s home for breakfast, and one of Faiza’s friends came and joined them. The friend was really interested in the believer and asked how she knew Arabic and what she thought of Islam. The believer replied that she knew Arabic because she had lived in North Africa for a time and that she did not follow Islam. The believer told the friend, with Faiza within earshot, that she follows Jesus and believes that He lived, died, arose from the dead, and will return. Faiza’s friend argued, saying that Jesus didn’t really die. Faiza spoke up and said to her friend, “At least she believes in God,” to get her friend to calm down. Faiza’s friend agreed. Please pray that what was shared will resonate with both Faiza and her friend. Pray that the believer can have future visits with Faiza and that they can talk more about following Jesus, leading to salvation.
