During the Christmas season in European cultures, stories are shared about Santa Claus, the three kings, and the birth of Jesus. Last December, Naeem arrived early at a Christmas-themed “pop-up play” event. He wanted to know what was going to happen and asked Kelsey, a believer, if there was going to be a story. Kelsey told him that there was going to be a story about the first Christmas. Curious, and not wanting to wait, Naeem asked what had happened at the first Christmas. Since there was still time before the event, Kelsey stopped preparing and explained some of the story to him. Naeem said that he had never heard the story about Jesus coming or even about the three kings. He continued to ask questions and wanted to know why God had sent Jesus. Kelsey told him that it was to save us from our sins. Naeem was still curious and had even more questions as he heard the full Christmas story at the event. Please pray for Naeem and his family. Pray that the Lord will open their hearts to believe in the first Christmas story and the Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
