Youssef was always talented and gifted in sports. In his North African homeland, he found many beaches on which to play. Many things just came easily for him. But things changed when he began looking for work. His friends and family encouraged him to move to France, as it was seen as a land of opportunity. After he arrived in that country, Youssef said, “There is no work because too many immigrants are trying to find jobs just like me.” Now Youssef searches diligently for work but is often unable to have a stable income. His current situation has created time in the day for him to spend afternoons outside. One afternoon, he encountered a follower of Christ who pointed him to the one who provides for all our needs : , Jesus. Since Youssef believes that Jesus is only one of the prophets and not fully God, he asked the believer why he thought Christ would do such a thing for him. The believer used this opportunity to share how Christ transformed his life and gave Himself for us all. Please pray that Youssef will come to know Jesus as his Lord and Savior and trust God in all circumstances.
