North Africans/Middle Easterners, Northern France

Several years ago, a North African Christian mother and her young daughter endured a devastating tragedy that would require years of slow, painful recovery. They were visited by some believers from another city who offered support amid overwhelming darkness. The following months, the believers stayed in close contact through calls and messages, checking in often. A year later, the believers again visited the mother and daughter, strengthening the bond that had formed during those early crisis days. Over the following years, the daughter faced a long, difficult road — physically and mentally. Eventually, she was able to return home, but the depth of her wounds meant that full healing would require a miracle. Recently, the mother reached out to the believers with surprisingly good news: Her daughter has taken a brave step to flee her painful past and has moved to the United States to begin a new season of life at a university! The believers reached out to the daughter to continue to encourage her toward Jesus. Pray that she’ll find deep healing in a relationship with Him. Pray that the body of Christ in her U.S. city will surround her with God’s irresistible love.
