The conflict between Israel and Gaza since October 7 has created a burst of emotions around the Middle East. People are angry, afraid, confused, and grieving, including Palestinians who have relatives in Gaza. This is the time for Christ followers to listen and to comfort their neighbors and friends. Pray that through this tragedy, Jews and Arabs in Israel and Palestine will call on the Lord and find peace in their lives, which only comes when one goes to the cross in surrender to Christ. Pray for all who are suffering, asking that God will meet them in their grief. God will hear their prayers. Pray that they will cry out to Him as David did in the Psalms. Pray that their physical needs will be met. Pray also for physical peace in Israel, the West Bank, and Gaza.
