Nubians of Northern Africa

(NOO-bee-ans) – In cities, towns, and communities, Nubian men, women, and children rub shoulders with Christ followers. During the Christmas season, they will see Christmas decorations and hear carols sung. Some of the wealthier people will decorate their homes and businesses with trees, Santas, and gifts, even though they profess Islam. Pray for the festivity of Christmas to be a bridge for believers to share the real meaning of Christmas with their Nubian friends, neighbors, and acquaintances. Pray for those friends and neighbors to have open hearts to accept the truth of Christmas. “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord” (Luke 2:11 ESV).
