(OH-sah-kah) – “The Osaka Team holds women’s cafes once every two months, usually with a theme celebrating a certain holiday. In February, we had a Valentines Day theme where we had someone come and share a testimony about the kind of friendship love taught in the Bible and the meaning of the gospel. We decorated waffles, enjoyed some traditional Valentines sweets, and ate lunch together. Several unsaved Japanese women were there and heard a clear presentation of the gospel. In April, the theme will be about Easter. Most Japanese associate Easter, not with the resurrection story but with the Easter Bunny and Easter eggs. Pray that, as the clear meaning of Easter is shared, unsaved women will come to salvation in Christ. Pray for many to attend and for wisdom and strength as the women plan for the meeting, which will be held on April 8.”
