The government holds offices there, and the largest, most famous mosques are there along with most of the economic activity for the country. This centralized location allows the government to tightly control many aspects of life, including faith. In Brunei, people live under Sharia law, which is very strict. Ask the Lord to soften the hearts of leaders who make decisions on behalf of citizens. Pray for the few churches to boldly share the gospel so that many in Brunei will come to salvation.
