(BAH-lee) – In the book of Daniel, Daniel is praying on the first day, yet it took 21 days for God’s answer to reach him. The angel was delayed because of spiritual opposition (Daniel 10:12-13). Bali also faces deep spiritual darkness. There is great spiritual opposition. Many people seek connection with the spirit world and pray to spirits in hopes of becoming possessed. Daily offerings are made throughout the island as part of religious devotion. While there are believers in Bali, many are hesitant to openly share the gospel because of government regulations and social pressures. Please pray that God will open doors for the gospel, soften hearts to receive His truth, and give believers boldness and wisdom to walk through every opportunity He provides.
