(soo-MAH-trah) – “North Sumatra has one of the largest Christian populations in Indonesia. Yet many have grown cold to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Paul writes, ‘We then, as workers together with Him also plead with you not to receive the grace of God in vain (2 Corinthians 6:1, NKJV).’ Local Baptist churches are being trained to get out and spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. Many congregations need spiritual reawakening. Some have accepted the gospel of Jesus but have eventually ignored it. Pray for our fellow brothers and sisters in the faith to be reignited by the Holy Spirit to repentance and action, taking the gospel to those God is leading out of the darkness.”
