(car-NAH-tuh-kuh) – In October, you were asked to pray as a group of believers made plans to prayerwalk a city in the state of Karnataka, India. Give thanks to God for His faithfulness! By His grace, they were able to prayerwalk and place feet on the ground in every ward of the city. These visits opened doors for spiritual conversations and allowed prayers to be lifted up in places where, perhaps, none had ever been spoken before. As this next season unfolds, pray that the Lord will guide these believers as they “adopt” a specific ward, leading them to the places where His Spirit is already stirring. Pray that their time spent mapping, building deeper relationships, and sharing the gospel more fully will result in finding “people of peace” (Luke 10:6) and homes where Bible storying groups can begin among seekers. Lift up nearby churches and believers, asking that they’ll join in this vision. Intercede for hearts that are open, and pray for groups of seekers to gather around His Word, leading to new church starts. May many echo the question of the Philippian jailer: “What must I do to be saved?” (Acts 16:30 ESV). May the Lord bring entire households to faith in Christ.
