(car-NAH-tuh-kuh) – In December, you were asked to pray for a young women’s discipleship group that had newly formed. As 2026 is now underway, that small group, consisting of Priscilla, Polly, Maria, and Glory, has grown. Thank the Lord for bringing Marilyn and Georgia to join in studying the Word! These six young women have continually come to discipleship with eagerness to learn and apply the truths that are being poured into them. At a recent gathering, two of these young women were able to share the gospel with classmates and friends. With a year full of new opportunities and challenges to grow through, pray that these young women will continue to live out the Great Commission of Matthew 28:18-20. May they also walk in the truth of Ephesians 5:1-2 (ESV): “Therefore be imitators of God, as beloved children. And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God.” Finally, pray that as they seek to be imitators of Christ, they will also pursue multiplication, and that as the time comes, they will also walk into new circles, planting new discipleship groups.
