(beng-AHL) – Thank you for praying for Trey and Meg, who have been gathering together a group of pastors/leaders from several nearby villages to “cast a vision” of reaching their communities for Jesus. The leaders are taught to understand that the task is just too big for them to do alone and too urgent to delay. They are taught how to engage their own church members in the work — not only to sow the seed and share the gospel, but also to disciple new believers and start new churches that will, in turn, be willing and able to go out into the harvest. Trey and Meg have been training these local pastors for several weeks. Pray that these pastors will be obedient to Jesus and willing to implement what they have learned in order to fulfill the Great Commission of making new disciples. Ask the Lord of the harvest to give them the vision of the harvest field, and pray that these pastors will really see the urgency in reaping the harvest in their villages and countryside. Pray for wisdom for Trey and Meg as they train and encourage these pastors also in knowing where to go next.
