Through the help of a volunteer team of 10 American college students in May, June, and July, more than 2,700 people heard the gospel and 67 people were baptized among the Antemoro, Tanala, Antesaka, and Antefasy peoples of southeastern Madagascar. The team worked alongside five Malagasy partners, spending countless hours in villages with the people. Praise God for His work among the Malagasy people! Pray for the churches to continue to grow in their faith. Pray for follow-up and discipleship work with the new believers. One new Tanala village had six of these baptisms, while an Antesaka village where there is a group already meeting for Bible study had four new baptisms. Pray for the believers in both of these villages. Ask that they will grow in their love for God and become a church.
