A volunteer team from a church in the United States recently traveled to the Harvester People to disciple the believers. The small group of believers has been hesitant to evangelize their fellow villagers for several years because they falsely believe that without the U.S. volunteers, no one in the villages will listen to their words of life. The U.S. church members continually try to encourage the local believers to evangelize even when they are not present in the villages. However, on each trip to visit the local believers, it becomes evident that there has been no evangelizing done in their absence. This last trip was different. At each village where they went to evangelize, the villagers told the U.S. team that they had heard the gospel from the local believers several times. Praise the Lord! Many Harvester People are showing signs of understanding the gospel and seem very close to making a life-changing decision to follow Christ. Two groups of villagers are ripe for change. Please pray that the Lord of the harvest will change hearts and that many will come to know Christ as their Savior.
