Riverlands is a rice-growing commercial hub in the delta region of Myanmar. Lush green rice paddies give way to untouched beaches that draw surfers from all over the country. Local people work in agriculture, fishing, trade, and government jobs. Buddhism is the dominant religion, with Islam, Hinduism, and Christianity making up a very small percentage of the religious adherents. Three large people groups are prevalent in this region. One group is approximately 3% Christian, and the others are still unreached with the gospel. Please pray for the salvation of the people of Riverlands, Myanmar.
