(dhoon-DHAR) – Please pray for an upcoming outreach among thousands of Muslim pilgrims at a large festival in Ajmer, India. The Festival of Urs commemorates the death of Hazrat Khwaja Gharib Nawaz, a Sufi saint who is revered by many Muslims across South Asia and beyond. Pilgrims flock to the famous “dargah” or Sufi saint shrine in droves to seek the blessings of the saint at his gravesite by offering prayers, flowers, special fabric grave covers, and perfumed oil. Many Muslims who are desperate for healing, peace, and spiritual blessings attend this large festival. Pray for South Asian brothers and sisters in Christ who plan to share the gospel and copies of God’s Word with the many Muslim pilgrims who are due to attend the festival in late December 2024. Pray for Muslims to hear and believe the truth about Jesus Christ and to find everlasting peace and freedom from sins through faith in Jesus.
