“I was teaching at a women’s Bible study in Uganda, and a visitor to the group openly expressed doubts about her salvation,” writes missionary Sonya Herron. “I stopped the teaching and asked the woman if I could share how we can be assured of our relationship with God. Using the ‘Roman Road’ method of evangelism, we went through the plan of salvation. This woman clearly heard the gospel presentation and openly professed faith in Jesus Christ! The other women in the study rejoiced. Within a Bible study, it is easy to expect that those in attendance are believers and miss the opportunity to share. Give thanks to God that the women in the Bible study were encouraged to always be ready to tell others about Jesus!”
